The development process is really a back-and-forth exchange of ideas with our ultimate goal being to provide the best learning experience for students and the best teaching experience for you.
It starts with you
We start with your expertise in the field, with the aim of getting that expertise into the hands of students so they can process it and internalize it on their own. Early in this process we want to find out what teaching and learning approaches you’re already using and how you anticipate students interacting with you and with the content in your course.
What we bring
We add our experience and expertise with best practices in online course design and teaching.
Adding effective media
In these early conversations with you we also work to identify places where it might make sense to incorporate media.
Working together
The heart of the development process is the actual creation of content and learning materials, and representing these in forms that work. This process requires time and continuous communication between you and the designer.
Finishing touches
To ensure high quality, we include a quality assurance step in the development process. Your course should function properly, and it should have a look and feel that appeals to students.
The final product
